BioCarbon Registry has a Zero-Tolerance Policy when it comes to fraud, transnational bribery and corruption.

We are fully committed to instilling a strong ethical culture and ensuring compliance with all Anti-Corruption legislations including, but not limited to, the United Nations Convention against Corruption Law 599/2000, of the Colombian Criminal Code, the Colombian Anti-Bribery Law 1778/2016, the Colombian Anti-Corruption Statute (Law 1474 of 2011), the Law on Transparency, Prevention and Fight against Corruption (Law 2195 of 18th of January 2022), among others, and ensuring that no bribes or other corrupt payments, inducements or similar are made, offered, sought or obtained by us or anyone working on our behalf.

In this context, we have developed our Anti-Bribery Policy and Procedures which specifically govern the required behaviors and business conduct regarding fraud, corruption, transnational bribery and/or associated misconduct.

All BioCarbon Registry's personnel and third parties must adhere to this Policy and to the internal controls established with the aim of prohibiting the offering, promising, giving, accepting, or soliciting of an undue advantage of any value.

We reserve the right to take any further required action to sanction people who take part in corruption acts, who engage in corruption or who breach any of BioCarbon Registry’s policies and procedures or the applicable laws and regulations.
